2011, the Gates-Chili Chamber of Commerce hosted the 15th
Annual Gates-Chili Charity Golf Tournament & Live Auction, which was
held at Brook-Lea Country Club in Gates, NY. This year's annual golf
tournament was dedicated to raising the quality of life for individuals
with developmental disabilities as the proceeds will benefit the
Lifetime Assistance Foundation.
 Lifetime
Assistance is the largest and most comprehensive provider of such
services in the 10 County area and has its headquarters in Chili.
Vital to the success of this event is the support of area businesses and
community leaders. As the Chamber and the Foundation reached out for
support, again
we were met with enthusiasm and the promise that this year would be
an outstanding event. Our participants were greeted that day with bright sunshine and
high spirits. The course was challenging and invigorating and a
great time was had by all golfers. This was followed by a social hour at
the bar and then a delicious dinner. The awards ceremony and live auction was
also a huge success thanks to the generosity of our attendees and the
enthusiasm of our Emcee and Auctioneer, Steve Hausmann!
A special thank you is extended to all of our sponsors and the many
volunteers who give of their time with such generosity. Thanks to
their support and commitment to the Chamber and to helping individuals
with disabilities, this was a very memorable and successful
event!.
