DESCRIPTION:Gates Chili Chamber Supports the Community for the Holiday\n\nOur Annual Holiday luncheon will not be held this year due to covid-19.  We are supporting Linda's Cupboard at Hope Hall and the Pirate Toy Fund and asking for your help! \n\n\n\nDonations can be brought to either the Chili Public Library or Gates Public Library. Drop-off boxes will be placed just inside each library entrance from  December 1st - December 20th.\n\n\n\nThe Pirate Toy Fund is the only nonprofit organization in the country dedicated to distributing new toys year-round to children-in-need throughout the Greater Rochester region. Founded by local children's entertainer\, Gary The Happy Pirate\, the Pirate Toy Fund has distributed over 250\,000 toys since 1995 and continues to actively pursue new avenues to expand our mission. Gary was inspired to found this endeavor by a special friend\, Christie Simonetti. New and unwrapped toys can be dropped off at either library.\n\n \n\n\nLinda's Cupboard- Linda's Cupboard opened in October 2010 in loving memory of Sister Diana Dolce's sister\, Linda Foster. Linda was a beloved member of the Hope Hall family and served as our Development Staff for many years until her passing. All donations go to Hope Hall families who struggle to make ends meet. Families are chosen based on their income level and family size. \n\n\n\nCurrently\, Linda's Cupboard is in need of the following non-perishable items:\n\nCereal (no sugar added)\n\nPeanut Butter\, Grape Jelly\, & Tuna Fish\n\nCanned or Boxed Soups\n\nGround Coffee\n\nRice\,  Pasta\, Instant Mashed Potatoes\n\nDish Soap & Paper products (paper towel\, napkins\, toilet paper)\n\nBody Wash\, Shampoo & Conditioner\n\nToothpaste & Toothbrushes
